Episode 7 Summary
In episode 7, titled To a Kinder World, Era, an angry acrobatic silkie, pursues Momo Ayase and Okarun after losing Shiratori. Silky uses her hair as a weapon and traps Aira alone, trying to eat her to merge her with her being. However, her hair gets tangled, and Momo steps in to help Aira escape. Silky then attacks Momo, but Okarun stops her by changing form.
While retrieving Okarun’s golden ball, they find that Aira has died from being consumed. Turbo Granny explains that Aira cannot be revived normally. Surprisingly, Silky offers her aura to revive Aira, showing her sincerity by breaking her jaw. Momo combines their auras, revealing Silky’s tragic past.
Silky was once a single mother who worked multiple jobs to provide for her daughter. After losing her child, she became a yokai out of despair. In the present, Aira revives, and Silky begins to fade away as she has no aura left. Aira, who saw Silky’s past through Momo, hugs Silky and comforts her, saying she loves her. The episode ends with Aira promising to never forget Silky.
